Friday the 13th – Origin, Folklore and the Rules

paraskevidekatriaphobia. This is a Greek term which reads as Friday thirteenth fear in English. It was coined by American Psychotherapist Dr. Donald Dossey.

It is difficult to pinpoint exactly the origin of this superstition. The folklore has strong cultural and religious associations. Below are some of the popular ones.
